Shopify

Azmarq Sender is the Shopify app for WhatsApp, SMS, and RCS. Merchants install it from the App Store. It is not a new Omni HTTP route — there is no POST /v1/shopify.

Install the app

  1. Open Azmarq : WhatsApp, SMS & RCS on the Shopify App Store.
  2. Install it on the store. The listing is free to install; message charges follow country rules and are billed by Azmarq, not as a Shopify plan fee.
  3. Connect the Azmarq account from the app so templates and sender IDs match the dashboard.

What merchants get

From the App Store listing:

  • Recover abandoned carts on WhatsApp
  • Real-time order updates, delivery notifications, and payment confirmation
  • Brand-matched message templates
  • WhatsApp, SMS, and RCS from one app
  • Delivery and performance views inside the app

Shopify must grant the app access to customers, products, and recent orders so those flows can run. That is Shopify app data access, not an Omni webhook you POST yourself.

When to use Omni HTTP instead

Use the Shopify app when the store should send from Shopify events (checkout abandoned, order paid, fulfillment).

Use Omni HTTP when your backend sends:

Do not map Shopify webhooks onto those payloads unless you are building your own connector. The installed app already does that mapping.

CleverTap and MoEngage stay in this Integrations list as HTTP connectors. Shopify, Google Sheets, Zoho CRM, Integrately, and Pabbly Connect are installable apps. Salesforce, LeadSquad, and WebEngage are custom connects.
